Fast Brake Inspection to Complete Brake Wear Assessment
Brake Tech Tools offers brake inspection tools, Fleet Gauge, Trade Package Gauge, Technicians Gauge (fractional, percentage & metric), Roadside Gauge, and Shop Tool. All can be custom labeled for your business. Fleet Gauge or Trade Package Gauge is simply inserted between the brake lining pad and brake wear is immediately accessed - safely and accurately with no tires to change or brake drum inspection. Technicians Gauges work in the same manner as Fleet Gauge, however, it will measure the actual remaining brake lining (either fractional or percentage) as well as the maximum wear on the drum allowed. Roadside Gauge is an integrated product that was specifically designed for the Commercial Vehicle Roadside Inspector. It is an "All In One Tool" that includes a soapstone and holder, pocket clip with a 4 inch ruler for brake stroke measurement and a brake lining thickness gauge for the minimum "Out Of Service" requirement. The Shop Tool is also an integrated tool but specially designed for the Technician.
