Brake Tech Tools is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee and management brings over 30 years of experience the transportation maintenance field in senior level positions in a variety of capacities. Committed to quality manufacturing standards and superior customer service, we are focused on bringing innovative brake maintenance tools to the marketplace.
Recognizing the number of unnecessary brake lining replacements and the time, effort and dollars required to inspect brakes as well as the human error that comes with "eyeing" brake wear, we were committed to developing a better, more accurate and safe method for measuring brake wear. Our goal was to develop products that are durable, inexpensive, efficient and simple to use with a decision criteria of "go no-go" for brake lining repair or change, or to safely access a vehicles wear level before a change is required.
The result were tools that require no need to remove the backing plates or drums to do an in-depth inspection of brake drums and to make a sound assessment literally in seconds. This means we save time and money for maintenance facilities and inspectors and enhance safety since brakes can be applied during use of the brake tools and can be inspected with or without dust shields or backing plates.
